Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 May 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TribeBoard's mobile application and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account, accepting an invite, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
The Services
TribeBoard provides tools to help households coordinate logistics such as schedules, lists, reminders, addresses, and related household information. Features may change as the product evolves. We aim to keep the Services reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
User accounts
You must provide accurate information where requested and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, except where activity results from a security failure on our side that we have not reasonably addressed.
Family and household spaces
TribeBoard may allow you to create or join shared household spaces ("Tribes"). Content you add to a shared space may be visible to other members depending on product features. You are responsible for what you share and for respecting the privacy of others in your household.
Invites and access roles
Invites may be issued by household members with permission to do so. Invites should only be sent to people who reasonably expect to participate. Roles and permissions are designed to reflect trust within a household; misuse of access may result in removal or account action.
User responsibilities
You agree to use the Services lawfully and respectfully. For example, you will not:
- use the Services to harass, harm, or deceive others;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data;
- interfere with or disrupt the Services or other users' use of the Services;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law; or
- use the Services in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
Acceptable use
We may investigate suspected violations of these Terms and may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other actions we consider appropriate to protect users and the Services.
Service availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services, including for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons. Where practical, we will try to provide reasonable notice of material changes that affect how you use the Services.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TribeBoard and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50) if you have not paid fees.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or possible legal exposure, or need to do so to comply with law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Governing law
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where TribeBoard operates its business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in that jurisdiction may have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless consumer protection law gives you a right to bring claims elsewhere.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide notice in a reasonable way (for example, in-app notice or email). Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance, where permitted by law.
